From Press ad’s to Brochures, Exhibitions and Large Format graphics, packaging, Point-of-Sale from small to large, I have an in-depth understanding of litho printing, repro, packaging and large format display.
Below are some samples of work, showing a cross-section of the variety of design projects I’ve been involved with, whether for a direct client or working freelance for a design or marketing agency.
Where the client is indicated as direct, I have taken the project from concept to final production. Where the client is otherwise, I will have been responsible only for producing the final artwork, not usually the concept or design.
I have a sound working knowledge of online media from building websites myself, an example can be viewed here, so I am well equipped to work with developers in producing graphics and imagery optimised for use on-screen as well as in print. Whether this is for website or social media. I’m available for freelance projects In-house or remotely.
Software
Initially trained and worked in QuarkXPress alongside Photoshop and Illustrator, with InDesign now largely replacing Quark. With my background in Photography I’m also a regular user of Lightroom.
I also have a good working knowledge of WordPress, Premiere, After Effects and Cinema 4D, some examples are shown above and below. With my initial work as a commercial/advertising Photographer I have worked in the industry for over 35 years .
