Galleries of purely personal photography, read below for a little bit about my background as a professional photographer.
I studied Photography & Visual Communication PQE- Professional Qualifying Exam (Blackpool & Fylde College) for 3 years 1978 – 81.
Following that I worked in London for around 3 years as freelance photographic assistant for various advertising photographers, whilst building my portfolio.
Moved back Manchester and set-up studio as a commercial & advertising photographer, eventually working for a cross-section of large and small Manchester and Northwest Advertising and Design Agencies.
Although now rarely taking on commercial photography projects, I am still passionate about great photography and the role it can play in design projects.
